What ElevenLabs announced

On 28 September 2026, ElevenLabs introduced Eleven v4 and Eleven v4 Turbo for speech synthesis. Both are available in ElevenAgents, ElevenCreative and through the API. The company positions Turbo for low-latency applications, including voice agents. The models allow instructions about tone and the delivery of individual lines.

An online store could compare two styles: a brief, neutral order confirmation and a calm explanation of a delay. Record the same script in several versions and ask listeners to repeat the key information: the date, next step and way to reach a manager. This tests comprehension without assuming that a particular voice will improve sales.

Speech synthesis alone does not check stock or change an order. A pilot should separately define where factual information comes from and who confirms whether a delivery change is possible. A new voice does not replace those rules.

What to include in a pilot

Prepare examples with Ukrainian surnames, product names, addresses and numbers. Evaluate pronunciation through a phone speaker as well as headphones. Include customers who refuse an order or ask for a callback. Before connecting a CRM, check that the assistant identifies itself as AI and hands complex requests to a person. These are editorial testing recommendations, not confirmation of a completed VoiceIP integration.
