What changed in Flux TTS
On 30 September 2026, Deepgram added pause and pronunciation controls to Flux TTS. Pauses work with batch REST requests. Pronunciation also works in streaming, but remains in Early Access and results can vary. It cannot be combined with pauses or a changed speed; a separate speed limit also applies when pauses are used.
VoiceIP analysis: test the important words first
A delivery message should let a customer hear the specific date and understand what happens next. For a test, prepare one short sentence containing a date and several recordings of it. Ask listeners to write down what they heard. Compare mistakes and requests for repetition, rather than judging only how pleasant the voice sounds.
Build a separate set of examples from product names, brands and place names. Record the intended pronunciation of each word and check several generations. One successful recording does not establish consistency. A Ukrainian scenario needs a separate check of language support in the selected voice and operating mode.
How to test the integration
Start in a test environment and deliberately submit incompatible settings. Check whether the log explains the rejection and whether the scenario has an agreed fallback for speech output. Play the recordings through an ordinary phone. These editorial recommendations provide a testing plan; they do not mean that VoiceIP already uses the new controls or that call quality is guaranteed.
